Local Transport Driver – Full Time
Location: Portland, OR
Pay: $19.00/hour

Before You Apply – Read This First: This is a fast-paced, safety-sensitive driving role that requires consistent attendance, strong awareness, and accountability.
This is not a casual driving job. You will:
- Drive throughout the day
- Work in all weather conditions
- Be expected to follow strict safety and auction protocols
- Play a key role in sale day operations where timing matters
If you have a history of attendance issues or are not comfortable driving a wide variety of vehicles, this role will not be a fit.
What You’ll Do:
- Transport vehicles between the auction and dealerships/businesses
- Safely operate a wide range of vehicles, including manual transmissions
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and auction driving rules
- Maintain situational awareness in a high-traffic auction environment
- Support Thursday Sale Day operations (high-energy, time-sensitive)
Non-Negotiable Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (3-year abstract required)
- Ability to confidently drive both automatic and manual vehicles
- Excellent attendance and punctuality (critical to team operations)
- Ability to work outdoors and drive-in all-weather conditions
- Ability to frequently enter/exit different types of vehicles throughout the day
- Strong awareness, safety mindset, and ability to follow direction
Preferred (Will Set You Apart):
- Previous experience in commercial, delivery, or fleet driving
- Experience working in a high-volume or logistics environment
- Strong understanding of defensive driving techniques
