D4D EXHIBITS is a growing trade show design, fabrication, and installation company with workshops in Orlando and Las Vegas. We produce 300 custom trade show exhibits each year for clients across the United States.
We are looking for an Experienced Electrician / Exhibit Electrical Installer to join our Orlando production and installation team.
This is a hands-on position for someone with solid electrical installation and troubleshooting skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced custom fabrication and trade show environment.
What You'll Do
Install and wire electrical systems for custom trade show booths and exhibits
Install and connect LED lighting, fixtures, outlets, switches, and other electrical components
Install wiring and power distribution systems within custom exhibit structures
Perform electrical connections for booth structures, displays, counters, signage, and specialty elements
Read and follow electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and installation plans
Troubleshoot wiring, connections, lighting, and electrical equipment
Test electrical installations and verify proper operation before and during show setup
Assist with electrical preparation and pre-installation testing in the shop
Work closely with carpentry, production, design, and installation teams
Perform electrical installation and troubleshooting at trade show venues
Prepare electrical components and materials for shipment and installation
Follow electrical safety procedures and applicable trade show venue requirements
Properly use and maintain electrical tools and testing equipment
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Electrical Skills & Equipment
Experience with some or most of the following is preferred:
LED lighting systems
Electrical outlets and switches
Wiring and cable management
Power distribution
Electrical connections and terminations
Low-voltage systems
Electrical testing equipment
Multimeter and other electrical diagnostic tools
Hand and power tools
Troubleshooting electrical and lighting systems
You do not need experience with every system or equipment listed above. Strong overall electrical installation and troubleshooting skills are more important.
Qualifications
2 years of professional electrical, electrical installation, or related hands-on experience preferred
Experience in commercial electrical work, event production, exhibit fabrication, custom installation, electrical maintenance, or a similar field is a plus
Basic understanding of electrical wiring, connections, lighting, and power distribution
Experience installing LED lighting and electrical components is preferred
Ability to read electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical plans
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to electrical safety
Comfortable using electrical hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
Trade show / exhibit electrical experience is a plus but not required
Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required
Willingness to travel occasionally for trade show installations and dismantles
Ability to work overtime and extended hours when project schedules require it
Reliable and able to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment

Important Information
Most of the work is performed in our Orlando workshop. Occasional travel to trade show sites is required for installations and dismantles.
We are interested in candidates with backgrounds in electrical installation, commercial electrical work, event production, electrical maintenance, exhibit installation, custom fabrication, or related fields.
