Position Summary📒:
Prominent CA-based trial practice seeks Junior Paralegal to provide support to their litigation teams. Junior Paralegals are responsible for assisting Snr. Paralegals, Trial Fellows and Legal Assistants and are provided the opportunity to expand their skills as they gain work experience.
Duties/Responsibilities🗝:
Junior Paralegals perform a variety of tasks relating to case management, discovery, and trial.
Tasks include and are not limited to:
- Assist and maintain case files and documents;
- Review and organize case correspondence and pleadings;
- Track and input data into various tracking logs;
- Assist with court filings and the preparation of the court’s courtesy copies;
- Create document binders for litigation teams;
- Schedule court-reporters for hearings and depositions and track scheduling;
- Assist litigation team with support at trial; and
- Cover receptionist breaks.
Requirements📢:
The successful candidate must have:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude and calm demeaner;
- Strong computer skills and attention to detail;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; and
- Read and comprehend written English and write at a level normally acquired through the completion of college.
Annual Salary💵/Compensation💰 & Health Benefits:
Starting annual salary/comp. is 84K~DOQ plus a comprehensive health benefits package, generous PTO, paid parking onsite, hybrid 3/2 work model after 90-day 'introductory' period, annual reviews/lucrative bonuses, etc.
