Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness across all assigned areas
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing
- Care for floors through specialized floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and polishing
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and maintained properly
- Assist with special cleaning projects such as deep cleans or move-in/move-out services
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs professionally and courteously
- Follow safety protocols related to sanitation, chemical handling, and equipment operation
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled shifts
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping management
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and floor care methods including carpet cleaning
- Ability to perform janitorial duties efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Experience with laundry operations and general household chores such as cooking is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety guidelines
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform repetitive tasks effectively
