Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site position for a Strength and Conditioning Coach located in Pittsburgh, PA. The coach will develop and deliver structured training programs based on athletic performance principles, conduct group and one-on-one sessions, and ensure participant safety during workouts. Responsibilities include designing workouts focused on strength, conditioning, and injury prevention while motivating and guiding clients toward achieving their athletic and fitness goals.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in Sports Science, Strength & Conditioning
- Strong understanding and application of Athletic Performance and Strength Training principles
- Expertise in Injury Prevention techniques
- Ability to work effectively with various age groups and fitness levels
- Strong communication and leadership skills to motivate clients and maintain a positive environment
- Certification in fitness or strength and conditioning (e.g., CSCS, NASM, NSCA) is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Sports Science, Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, or a related field is a plus
- Prior experience coaching or training athletes is highly desirable
