Strength and Conditioning GAA The Athletic and Fitness Center is seeking a responsible individual with an interest in assisting the strength and conditioning coach. Students must be able to work well as a team to develop innovative and creative programs that enhance and promote wellness on campus. Experience with health science and personal training required. Each student will be responsible for assisting the strength and conditioning coach with the sports teams' individual lifts. Responsibilities of the Position: Creating individual workout plans for student athletes on a given athletics team. Creating a set schedule for each workout session Meeting with strength and conditioning coach to check in regarding workouts and the progression of student athletes Instruct, model, and assist student athletes with new workout circuits Student staff must participate in online and personal training sessions run by the Career Development Office. The position is in-person, and hours per week vary depending on availability in relation to building hours. Nights and weekends are required. You will be asked to meet in person at least once per semester. All current student employees should notify their other manager(s) if you work multiple jobs on campus at the same time. Additionally, students may not work more than 20 hours per week (combined between all campus jobs) during the academic year. Students may not exceed 980 work hours per calendar year. Student jobs do not automatically roll over to the next academic year or summer.
