Overview
We are seeking an experienced Carpenter Supervisor to lead our construction team in delivering high-quality projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of carpentry techniques, construction management, and safety regulations. As a Carpenter Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations on-site, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within specifications while maintaining a safe work environment.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of carpenters and other construction workers on-site.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to ensure accurate project execution.
- Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and HeavyBid for project tracking and reporting.
- Collaborate with project managers to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Train and mentor junior carpenters in best practices and techniques.
- Perform quality control checks on work completed by the team to ensure adherence to specifications.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Carpenter Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes related to construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of contract management and compliance with industry standards.
- documentation and collaboration and understanding of schematics related to carpentry projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of pipeline construction processes is a plus but not mandatory.
