What are the responsibilities and job description for the Furniture Revival Tech position at D ROSE MOD, Inc.?
The Company: We are a growing high-end, e-commerce reseller of designer, vintage & contemporary furniture. Our operation moves quickly, and we rely on an outstanding attitude and clear communication to maintain the high standards of both our team and our global customers.
The role of Furniture Revival Tech is the heartbeat of our operational pipeline. You are responsible for the physical preparation of furniture—both incoming for photography and assisting with outgoing customer delivery. This role requires a high level of situational awareness: you must balance a steady production pace with a meticulous eye for detail. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine craftsmanship with customer service, working in a fast-paced environment dedicated to transforming and maintaining furniture assets.
Core Responsibilities
- Inventory Readiness: Clean, vacuum, polish, and condition a variety of materials including wood, metal, leather, glass, and marble. You are responsible for making iconic pieces "camera-ready."
- Quality Triage: You must have the discernment to know when a piece needs simple cleaning versus when it requires a "deep dive" by our restoration team. Identifying these needs early prevents bottlenecks.
- Workflow Documentation: Consistently use our process flow sheets and digital tools to document your work. High-level communication is required to keep management and photography aligned.
- Production & Fulfillment: Maintain a consistent output to ensure the photography team is never idle. Additionally, you will assist in prepping sold inventory, acting as the final set of eyes to ensure the customer receives the item in "better-than-expected" condition.
- Work in Varied Conditions: Occasionally you will need to work in our warehouse that is not temperature controlled.
The Ideal Candidate
- Collaborative Mindset: You understand that your work directly impacts the photographer, order operations, and the customer. You take pride in being a reliable link in that chain and have a positive, can-do attitude.
- Receptive to Feedback: You value efficiency and are open to adjusting your methods to meet the team’s evolving goals.
- Self-Motivated & Disciplined: You enjoy a "good hard day’s work" on your feet and find genuine satisfaction in the "before and after" of a well-prepped piece.
- Detail-Oriented: You notice the small things—a loose screw, a hidden smudge, or a dry patch of leather—and take care of them before they become an issue for someone else.
