JOB PROFILE
Processes and verifies accuracy of vehicle titles and vehicle sales contracts by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Calculates and posts to computer accounting system profit amount, sales tax, tire tax, finance reserve, extended warranty, document fee and salesperson’s commissions.
- Prepares, copies and mails title and car deal documents to customer and/or financial institutions,
- Verifies that required signatures are obtained for financed deals.
- Submit legal transfer documents to the DMV such as duplicate titles and registration for customers and company service vehicles.
- Prepares used vehicles stock cards. Verify and correct title work on trade-ins.
- Receive and Process paperwork from F&I department.
- Logs all deals.
- Issue payoff checks and send to financial institution along with appropriate paperwork.
- Assists customers and financial institutions with any deal related problems.
- Prepares titles for auction.
- Copies and files all paperwork associated with car deal.
- Backup cashier when needed.
- Must get along with others.
- Corresponds with motor vehicle agencies to clear automobile titles.
- Obtains title, signs registration documents on cars traded in, verifies and corrects title work on trade-ins.
- Keeps file of sales contracts.
- Requires being at work on time and maintain satisfactory attendance.
- Any other duties assigned by management.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 6 months of related experience; or one or more years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.
