D-Patrick Motoplex – Service Advisor
Location: 200 N Green River Rd, Evansville, IN 47715
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our Service team. You will act as the primary liaison between customers and the service department, coordinating vehicle repair and maintenance services while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and schedule service appointments in person, by phone, text, or email
- Prepare, explain, and present repair and service estimates
- Maintain high customer satisfaction (CSI) scores
- Verify technician time, repair findings, and warranty work
- Ensure repair orders are complete, accurate, and authorized
- Keep customers informed on repair status, delays, and additional work
- Inspect vehicles at check-in and coordinate test drives for quality control
- Review vehicle service history and advise on recommended maintenance
- Handle incoming service calls and work-in-progress inquiries
- Maintain punctuality, attendance, and readiness to work scheduled shifts
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Automotive Service Advisor in a dealership or high-volume service environment
- Hands-on experience operating a Dealer Management System (DMS), such as CDK
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes, maintenance schedules, and warranty procedures
- Excellent customer service and communication skills; able to manage multiple priorities
- Solid math skills and ability to accurately prepare and explain estimates
- Detail-oriented with ability to meet manufacturer and dealership requirements
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional appearance, strong work ethic, and integrity
- Willingness to work weekends and overtime
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 2 years of related experience preferred
Licenses & Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
