Job Summary:
As a CNC Operator 1, you’ll be an essential part of our production team, learning and applying manufacturing skills in a supportive environment. You will:
- Operate CNC production machines to produce precision parts according to established standards.
- Load, unload, and deburr parts for production runs.
- Inspect finished parts to verify quality using basic measuring tools.
- Adjust machine offsets as needed to keep parts within tolerance.
- Meet production goals for quality, quantity, and cycle time.
- Maintain safe operations by following all safety protocols and procedures.
- Keep your work area organized and adhere to Lean 6S manufacturing practices.
- Communicate effectively with your supervisor and team members.
- Use proper PPE at all times.
Reports To: Manufacturing Manager
What We’re Looking For:
- Mechanical Aptitude: Comfortable working with machines, tools, and detailed parts.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to measure accurately and follow written instructions.
- Manual Dexterity: Steady hands and attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: Clear and professional verbal and written communication.
- Blueprint Reading: Ability to read a blueprint is a plus.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED.
Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
Ability to sit, stand, twist, bend and walk for long periods--and lifting up to 35 lbs.
