Job Summary
Dispatchers facilitate the logistics and coordinate with customers, sales, drivers and yard employees to ensure we uphold our industry leading customer service. As a dispatcher you need to be able to adapt and organize on the fly and have contingencies set up as fail-safes. It is the dispatcher's responsibility to ensure delivery times are met and the right equipment shows up on site. Dispatchers should have a grasp of inventory as well as yard layout and have their teams lined out for the day, they are to up-hold safety procedures and identify any areas their team is falling short and remedy it. Dispatchers also should be up to date on any DOT standards and follow and implement changes to the team when necessary. Dispatchers should be able to identify delays and hazards and have an open line of communication with drivers and customers.

Responsibilities
- Heavy customer service- taking orders from all customers and sales team
- Management of all yard employees and drivers
- Management of DPN truck fleet and forklift maintenance
- Management of all DPN rental inventory, tracking and cycle counting
- Management of ensuring the maintenance and testing of all DPN rental inventory
- Entry of all orders into DPN proprietary ERP system
- Management of all paperwork processing; bill of ladings and return documentation
- Management of all customer invoices and bill outs
- Management of all damage and repairs of DPN rental inventory
- Management of all yard safety and inspections for meeting OSHA and DPN standards for safety and cleanliness
- Manage purchasing of all yard supplies and replacement of DPN rental inventory
- Providing quotes to customers and sales team
- Dispatching of all delivery and return trucking for DPN rental inventory
- Management of all training and certifications of yard and drivers

Qualifications
- Read, write and speak fluent English
- Accuracy and attention to detail are essential
- Capable of multi-tasking
- PC literate with enterprise software, Excel and Word skills
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- Exercise good judgment in decision making and problem solving
- Strong leadership skills
- Self-directed and result oriented
- College Degree or comparable experience required.
- A minimum of three years experience in operations management, or dispatch.
- Previous experience in a rental distribution environment is desirable.
Salary : $75,000 - $90,000
