D&M Leasing Houston is seeking a highly motivated and experienced automotive professional for the Vehicle Inventory Manager position. You must thrive in a fast-paced automotive environment and take ownership of used vehicle appraisals, manage internal processes, and supervise a team of 3. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the used car market.
Key Responsibilities:
Vehicle Trade in appraisals—appraise potential trade-ins with a trade value. Utilize Vauto, Manheim, Carfax and AutoCheck to ensure accuracy of Appraisal value.
Vehicle Check-In—physically inspect and drive each vehicle.
Accept trade receipts—review bid and check-in sheet in car track to ensure accurate ACV.
Lot Management—assist with daily vehicle movement, both inside and outside the lot.
Purchase Order Processing—verify costs and forward invoices to the accounting department.
Cartrak/Data Entry—perform data entry and invoice processing in Cartrak.
Preferred candidates’ knowledge, skills, and experience
-Minimum 3 years of Dealership operations experience including product knowledge of all vehicle types.
-2 years Manager/Supervisory experience.
- Proficiency in dealership inventory and appraisal tools such as Vauto, Manheim, Carfax and AutoCheck to ensure accuracy of Appraisal value.
Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid in-state driver’s license.
-Strong verbal and written communication.
Hours:
M-F 8:30am- 6pm.
Every other Saturday 9-4pm
