What are the responsibilities and job description for the Consumer Underwriting Auto Finance position at D&M Auto Leasing?
Four Stars Finance is seeking an experienced automotive finance underwriter to review credit applications, structure deals, and collaborate directly with lending partners to secure approvals for our dealership network.
This role is ideal for someone with F&I or automotive underwriting experience at a dealership who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys problem-solving and deal structuring.
What You’ll Do
- Review and analyze credit applications
- Structure and submit deals to lending partners
- Negotiate financing terms with lenders
- Maintain strong relationships with financial institutions
- Ensure deals meet lender guidelines and compliance standards
- Manage multiple deals in a high-volume environment
- Troubleshoot deal challenges and approval issues
- Support sales teams with financing options and deal structure
- Stay current on lender programs and industry trends
Qualifications
- 2 years of automotive F&I or finance underwriting experience is required
- Experience in structuring deals and working with lenders
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and urgency
Pay Range: $85,000-95,000
Location: This person can be based in our Fort Worth Office or our Addison office.
Hours: M-F 9-6pm with a periodic Saturday rotation based on business needs that would be 9-2pm.
