What You'll Do
- Develop purchasing strategies for assigned product categories
- Purchase HVAC, appliance, and related products
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Negotiate pricing, buying programs, and vendor agreements
- Analyze inventory levels, sales trends, and demand forecasts
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve inventory turns
- Create reports and dashboards that support purchasing decisions
- Maintain ERP purchasing data, pricing, and product information
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Distribution, IT, and Accounting to solve purchasing challenges
- Support strategic supply chain initiatives across the company
Requirements
What We're Looking For
- 5 years of purchasing or procurement experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP)
- ERP experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
