What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ammonia Refrigeration Field Technician position at D&K Refrigeration Specialists LLC?
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install, trouble shoot, repair and calibrate industrial refrigeration units
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Observe additional maintenance needs requiring attention and report those to the appropriate supervisor
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Demonstrated strong customer service skills, ability to proactively address customer issues and concerns
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 10 -15 years’ experience as an Industrial Refrigeration Technician
- Must have experience working with amonia
- Requires standing, stooping, twisting, lifting, and other physical movements requiring full range of motion
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to work in all types of weather
- EPA Universal Certification
- RETA Certification (a plus)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be comfortable with and confident working at heights up-to 40 feet above ground level and using extension ladders
