D&H Lending is a Texas-based mortgage banker known for delivering a high-end client experience through a small, experienced, and collaborative team. We are currently seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant / Inside Sales Representative to support our origination team by engaging prospective borrowers and helping move qualified opportunities forward.
This is an entry-level position and an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to the mortgage industry. For the right person, this role offers meaningful long-term growth within mortgage lending.
What You’ll Do
- Call and follow up with prospective borrowers from company-provided leads and inquiries
- Conduct professional, consultative conversations to understand borrower needs
- Identify motivated and qualified prospects and connect them with a Loan Officer
- Assist with gathering preliminary information and coordinating next steps
- Schedule calls and maintain timely, organized follow-ups
- Accurately document borrower interactions in the CRM
- Assist Loan Officers with managing active pipelines, from prequalified borrowers through loans in process
- Support ongoing borrower communication and internal coordination to keep files moving forward
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Comfortable with technology and CRM systems; able to learn new tools quickly
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills
Additional Skills (Helpful but Not Required)
- Knowledge of loan products (conventional, government, jumbo, etc.)
- Understanding of lending guidelines, documentation, and mortgage practices
- One year or more of mortgage or real estate experience
