What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader position at D&D Landscaping?
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking crew lead to join our team. The candidate will drive the truck and trailer and be in charge of a two man mowing crew for 2-3 days a week. Both employees will be able to mow and trim proficiently. The other days will be spent on landscape projects or other maintenance work that isn't mowing. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow within the landscaping industry.
Duties
- Driving the truck and trailer on a route 2-3 days a week.
- Mowing and trimming with a Walker mower.
- Trimming bushes and weeding at times.
- Assist in installing flowers, shrubs, trees, and lawns.
- Prepare areas for softscapes and hardscapes.
- Install hardscaping features including decorative rock and bark, patios and walkways.
- Sprinkler system installation
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial mowing and trimming is needed.
- Looking for somebody who can keep a good pace and do a quality job at the same time.
- Drivers license.
- Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks throughout the day.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to landscape restoration and maintenance.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
Willing to pay up for the right person who is dependable and has the skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
