We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Safety Manager to lead our organization's safety and environmental health initiatives. Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety policies aligned with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), and other regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits, hazard assessments, and risk analyses to identify potential issues and develop corrective action plans.
- Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analysis, and prepare detailed report writing to prevent recurrence of safety incidents.
- Deliver engaging training & development sessions on workplace safety protocols, hazardous materials regulations, emergency response procedures (including CPR and first aid), and environmental management systems.
- Ensure compliance with environmental health standards, hazardous materials regulations, workers' compensation law, and other legal requirements related to occupational health.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote workplace safety initiatives, monitor environmental regulatory compliance, and uphold environmental management systems standards.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incident reports, training logs, and compliance documentation for internal review and external audits.
Requirements
- Proven experience in manufacturing or industrial environments with a strong understanding of workplace safety practices.
- Certification in first aid, CPR, OSHA safety regulations, environmental management systems, and hazardous materials regulations is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of environmental regulatory compliance standards and occupational health laws is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to perform hazard identification, root cause analysis, and report writing effectively.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver training & development programs clearly and confidently.
- Familiarity with workers' compensation law and environmental health policies will enhance success in this role.
- A proactive mindset with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple safety initiatives simultaneously.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
