Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Dismantler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for dismantling vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring that all components are properly removed and categorized for recycling. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience with hand and power tools. Training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Dismantle vehicles systematically to salvage parts for resale or recycling.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to remove components such as engines, transmissions, and other mechanical parts.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while handling hazardous materials.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and productivity.
Qualifications
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy parts and standing for extended periods.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
