ABOUT THE ROLE
D-BAT Chattanooga is Scenic City’s home for baseball & softball training. We’re hiring a Player Services & Front Desk Coordinator to be the face of the facility.
This is not a “sit behind the counter and scroll your phone” job. You’ll be juggling phones, walk-in questions, lesson check-ins, and the point-of-sale system—often all at once—while keeping a positive, professional attitude with kids, parents, and coaches.
We’re looking for someone who wants to be here for the foreseeable future, not for a 3–4 month pit stop.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Greet players and families and check them in for lessons, camps, clinics, and cage rentals
- Run the point-of-sale system: memberships, lessons, camps, cages, pro shop items, gift cards, etc.
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to questions about:
- How lessons work (pricing, scheduling, instructors)
- Membership options and benefits
- Camps, clinics, teams, and special events
- Cage rentals and pitching machine usage
- Book and manage:
- Private lessons and recurring lessons
- Cage rentals and team rentals
- Birthday parties and group events
- Explain and promote memberships, packages, and current promotions
- Follow daily opening and closing checklists (front desk, lobby, cages, basic cleaning/reset)
- Help monitor and restock concessions / vending and pro shop merchandise
- Learn and follow basic pitching machine procedures (starting up, shutting down, troubleshooting common issues – training provided)
- Communicate clearly with instructors and management about schedules, cancellations, and customer needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, welcoming environment for players and families
