Job Description:
Review and interpret project plans and specifications to determine total costs of materials such as doors and trim work.
-Creating labor estimates for projects
- Analyze data and factors like materials, equipment and location to prepare detailed estimates.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to gather pricing and bids.
- Work alongside project managers to refine estimates and budgets.
- Maintain an up-to-date database with cost information on products, vendors, and subcontractors
Qualities:
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience as an estimator or similar role in the construction industry
- Effective communication skills
