Duties
- Supervise and support the lube technicians to perform oil changes, fluid replacements, tire services, alignments, and minor mechanical repairs efficiently and accurately
- Coordinate daily workflow to maximize productivity while maintaining quality standards for automotive diagnostics and repairs
- Ensure all vehicle maintenance tasks comply with safety regulations and dealership policies
- Train and mentor team members on proper use of hand tools, power tools, and maintenance procedures
- Manage inventory of automotive fluids, parts, and tools to ensure availability for service needs
- Assist in customer interactions by explaining services performed, addressing questions, and promoting additional maintenance or repair opportunities
- Maintain detailed records of service activities, inspections, and repairs for quality control and reporting purposes
Qualifications
- Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics, mechanical repair, and vehicle maintenance
- Hands-on mechanic experience with standard passenger cars and familiarity with automotive fluid replacement procedures
- Knowledge of automotive service procedures including oil changes, tire service, alignments, and minor mechanical repairs
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostic equipment
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Leadership experience in a service technician or supervisory role preferred
