Technical Support Specialist – Part Time
This role focuses on delivering technical support to resolve requests and incidents submitted through the company’s Service Desk platform. It is a tiered position designed to support professional growth and increasing responsibility.
This is a part-time position, 2 days per week, with the potential to increase to full-time.

This role focuses on delivering technical support to resolve requests and incidents submitted through the company’s Service Desk platform. It is a tiered position designed to support professional growth and increasing responsibility.

Responsibilities
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and support company desktops, laptops, tablets, etc.
- Provisions user access & security for various systems and applications.
- Provide support for select IT infrastructure and network projects.
- Support and help troubleshoot WAN, LAN & wireless issues.
- Set up breakroom equipment for company-wide meetings, conference calls, townhalls, etc.
- Maintain and troubleshoot various manufacturing & production systems, and coordinate with vendors as needed.
- Provide ongoing maintenance for a mixed Microsoft Windows desktop environment.
- Assist with Microsoft Active Directory user profiles and group memberships as needed
- Support telephone system and all other communication media, including video conferencing.
- Install, troubleshoot, and support Microsoft O365 applications.
- Maintain local inventory levels of laptops, desktops, tablets, and all peripherals. Issue Purchase Order Requests as needed to fulfill and maintain safety stock.
- Communicate with local IT vendors and contractors to help supplement IT projects, infrastructure, coverage, and technical support as needed.
- Some college and/or Technical School Degre
- CompTIA A or MCDST (Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) is preferred.
- 3 years of PC and various hardware troubleshooting, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- 3 years of Active Directory maintenance and support.
- Strong technical understanding of networking and internet protocols.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Salary : $30 - $34
