Push Notification Coordinator - Sports, CRM Operations

Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Work Arrangement: 100% onsite, Monday through Sunday event-based scheduling

Schedule: Core schedule Wednesday through Sunday, with live sports coverage every weekend. Flexibility for evening, night, holiday, and select Tuesday or Wednesday UEFA matchdays is required.

About The Role

We are looking for a Sports Push Notification Coordinator to manage real-time and scheduled messaging for major live sports events, including NFL, college football, UFC, UEFA, and PGA Tour. You will help fans stay connected to games, fights, scores, highlights, and video-on-demand content through timely, accurate push notifications and other CRM communications.

This role combines live event execution with campaign planning, quality assurance, and ongoing CRM operations. It requires strong attention to detail, sports knowledge, and the ability to work under pressure when timing matters.

What You'll Do

Live Sports Execution (60 to 65%)

• Execute push notifications, email, and in-app messaging for live and upcoming events, including fight night alerts, game-day reminders, score and result updates, highlights, and video-on-demand availability.
• Monitor live events in real time and send time-sensitive messages tied to key moments, including kickoffs, fight starts, finals, upsets, and overtime.
• QA all sends for accuracy, including deep links, personalization, and timing, before and during live event windows.
• Troubleshoot messaging issues in real time and quickly escalate platform or content problems.
• Partner with CBS Sports Digital on content availability, embargoes, and real-time editorial updates that inform message timing and content.

Planning and Operations (35 to 40%)

• Maintain the sports messaging calendar across sports and seasons, coordinating event dates and avoiding conflicts with other CRM programs and audience fatigue limits.
• Prepare campaign briefs, copy, and templates ahead of each weekend event window.
• Support day-to-day CRM operations, including message QA, scheduling, and campaign setup across channels.
• Report weekly and post-event performance, including opens, click-through rates, and opt-outs, and flag anomalies and optimization opportunities.
• Maintain messaging playbooks, timing templates, and escalation contacts for recurring events, and complete an off-season review and playbook refresh each summer.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience in CRM, lifecycle marketing, or push notifications.
• Hands-on experience with a push or messaging platform such as Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or a similar tool.
• Experience executing time-sensitive messages during live events, not just scheduling campaigns in advance.
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance skills under time pressure.
• Working knowledge of at least one of the following: NFL or college football, combat sports, soccer, or golf.
• Strong cross-functional communication skills, especially when coordinating with editorial and content teams.
• Flexibility to work evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and event-driven schedule changes.

Pay Range

• $28.51 to $33.44 per hour
