Manager, Retail Development
The Manager, Retail Development, Global Products & Experiences is responsible for executing retail strategies that drives sell-in of licensed merchandise across key retail partners. This role manages day-to-day relationships with retailers and licensees, ensures strong in-store execution, and supports the growth of the brands through compelling consumer product offerings.
Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with retail partner (Target) and licensees to drive sell-in and sell-through of licensed products across key hardlines categories including Sporting Goods, Bullseyes Playground, Food & Beverage and Essentials & Beauty.
- Execute retail strategies across category responsibilities
- Monitor retail performance and identify opportunities to increase sales and distribution
- Partner with licensing category teams to support product launches and retail activations in partnership with licensees
- Ensure brand consistency and compliance across all licensed products and retail placements
- Conduct store visits and retail audits to ensure merchandising standards are met and identify new opportunities
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive activity
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, category, franchise) to support campaigns
Requirements

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills, attention to detail and follow-up
- Experience working with licensed brands or retail partnerships preferred
- Strong understanding of retail environments and merchandising strategies
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills
- Analytical mindset with experience using sales data to drive decisions
Experience
- 4 years of experience in retail, licensing, consumer products, or business development
- Bachelor’s degree
- Working knowledge of entertainment, categories and/or retail industry a plus
Need to be open to going onsite 5 days a week in September 2026***
Compensation
- $43.00 to $57.33/hr. (W2)
