Responsibilities
- Initial Project:
- Guidewire Implementation to help integrate across the entire company
- Gather, analyze, and document business and user requirements.
- Facilitate meetings between business and IT teams to ensure alignment on goals, priorities, and deliverables.
- Develop a strong understanding of business processes, systems, data, and their interdependencies to support project execution.
- Lead or participate in business process analysis to identify requirements and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with testing teams to develop testing strategies and ensure test cases align with documented requirements.
- Support reporting and documentation needs by providing clear, actionable requirements.
- Participate in Business Analysis Center of Excellence activities and follow established best practices.
- Contribute to all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring business requirements are well-documented, communicated, and met.
- Define or refine business needs for new or enhanced products, services, or optimized processes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to understand their goals, provide consultative support, and ensure effective collaboration.Requirements
- 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, proficient in BA tools, techniques, and requirement elicitation/documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills; highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills with clear, professional documentation abilities.
- Experience with business modeling, test case/test plan development, and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Background in insurance, preferably property and casualty, with knowledge of policy administration and claims processes.
- Familiarity with Guidewire systems (implementation experience preferred) and Agile methodologies.
- CBAP certification preferred.
