Job Summary
Cypress Fabrication is a custom fabrication company looking for a highly organized, detail-driven Project Manager to coordinate projects from award through delivery. This role supports operations, improves workflow, and ensures our fabrication shop has clear priorities and accurate information.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects from award to closeout
- Lead project kickoff and issue job travelers, weld maps, QC requirements, and material lists
- Coordinate daily with Yard Superintendent, QC, Document Control, and Estimator
- Track schedule, man-hours, and budget (planned vs actual)
- Ensure materials, NDE, machining, plate rolling, blasting/painting, and other vendors stay on schedule
- Serve as primary customer contact for updates, documentation, inspections, and change orders
- Maintain drawing revisions, MTRs, NDE reports, hydro packages, and turnover documentation
- Provide weekly status reports (photos, progress, schedule updates)
What You Need
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Experience reading fabrication drawings (preferred)
- Prior industrial, welding, or fabrication experience is a plus
- Self-driven and accountable with a problem-solving mindset
- Strong Excel and computer skills required (project tracking, schedules, budgets, documentation management).
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
