The Role

Cypress Creek Renewables is seeking a Senior CI Manager to join the Continuous Improvement team. This person will facilitate cross-functional process improvements, drive measurable results with CCR’s functional leaders, and ensure improvements are sustained through governance and auditing. The ideal applicant will possess strong facilitation skills, a track record of driving business impact, the ability to influence across functions, and comfort working in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

This role will report directly to the VP of Continuous Improvement.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Facilitate Kaizen events, process mapping, KPI development and cross-functional workshops.
• Partner with functional leaders to identify and implement improvements that reduce risk and create business value.
• Support development and rollout of SOPs, governance standards, and adoption audits.
• Lead governance cadences and track CI initiative results.
• Mentor CI Associates and provide tools, templates, and facilitation support to functions.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Lean, Quality, and CI methodologies.
• Collaborate with Development, Project Execution, Operations, and Shared Services teams to improve processes critical to CCR’s growth.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by demonstrating results-oriented thinking and structured problem solving.
  
  

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Lean, or Operational Excellence.
• Industry background in energy (IPP, utility, OEM, EPC) strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; advanced degree or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt a plus.
• Strong facilitation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional process improvements and governance.
  
  

Requirements/Work Environment

• Position location preferred as Durham, NC, Asheville, NC, Washington DC or other East Coast, but flexible to remote.
• Willing and able to travel up to 30% of the time, as required.
