Cynos Express LLC is seeking a highly autonomous DIGITAL MARKETING AND PR GENERALIST to join our team in East Rutherford, NJ. This is not a typical collaborative role; we are looking for a self-driven professional who takes full ownership of our brand’s digital presence and PR strategy from start to finish. Your most critical mission is to independently identify, reach out to, and manage our influencer network and media partnerships.
As a member of a growing startup, you must be a versatile "all-rounder" who thrives in a dynamic environment. While your primary focus is influencer PR and social media, you will act as an active hand for the company, with duties expanding into outside sales support, outdoor promotions, and live streaming as needed. - Influencer Outreach & Management: Identify and recruit influencers that align with our multiple brands; handle all communications, negotiations, and ongoing relationship management.
- Adaptability in Roles: Participate in diverse marketing and sales-related activities, including outdoor promotions and event support.
- Live Content Creation: Willingness to lead or support live streaming sessions to engage with our audience in real-time.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as a "team player" by assisting other departments during peak times or special projects, fostering a supportive, family-like work culture.
- Brand Expansion: Strategically expand our influencer network to increase brand visibility and drive engagement across different niches.
- Multi-Brand Coordination: Manage social media and promotional activities for various internal brands, ensuring a consistent yet tailored voice for each.
- Operational Support: As part of a lean startup, be ready to assist with outdoor promotions, sales events, and live streaming to support the company’s growth.
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies across various platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.
- Create engaging content tailored to different audiences, utilizing skills in content creation, graphic design, and video editing.
- Monitor social media channels for trends and insights through social listening and web analytics to inform strategy adjustments.
- Manage social media advertising campaigns, ensuring optimal performance through keyword research and SEO best practices.
- Utilize tools such as Google Analytics to analyze performance data.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall branding and digital marketing initiatives.
- Foster relationships with influencers and key stakeholders in the industry to enhance public relations efforts.
- Proofread all content before publication to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Ability to write professional, persuasive, and engaging outreach messages to potential partners.
- Proactive Networking: A self-starter who is comfortable cold-contacting influencers and building professional networks from scratch.
- Multitasking & Flexibility: Experience or willingness to handle diverse tasks (Marketing, Sales, Event support) in a fast-paced, "all-hands-on-deck" startup environment.
- Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing roles
- Strong understanding of e-commerce principles and how they relate to social media marketing.
- Experience with photography and video editing is a plus.
- Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics for measuring campaign success.
