Job Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Execute direct procurement operations activities for Tissue Diagnostics in alignment with category management strategies.
- Manage supplier relationships, including issue resolution and escalation handling.
- Support master data management activities to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Contribute to cost savings initiatives and value improvement programs.
- Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence within procurement processes.
- Analyze procurement data to support decision-making and identify risks.
- Develop and implement negotiation strategies, with support for complex negotiations as needed.
- Translate business requirements into procurement specifications with a customer-focused approach.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of procurement objectives.
- Participate in team meetings, presentations, and briefings to gather and share information.
Required Skills And Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in Business or related field; postgraduate qualification preferred.
- 3 years of procurement experience, including basic contracting and spot buying.
- Experience working with enterprise systems and procure-to-pay processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use quantitative and qualitative data for decision-making.
- Understanding of supplier management and procurement lifecycle processes.
- Ability to independently manage deliverables and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
- Exposure to eSourcing tools and procurement technologies.
- Experience supporting cost reduction and value improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of operational excellence or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience in Life Sciences or related industry.
