Job Overview:
Pay Range: $57hr - $62hr
- The QA Engineer will lead testing strategy and quality delivery across multiple teams while supporting software testing and automation initiatives.
- The role requires extensive experience in automation frameworks, scripting, test planning, and Agile methodologies, along with strong healthcare system knowledge.
Requirement/Must Have:
- 15 years of experience in software testing and test automation.
- Strong knowledge of automation frameworks including Data-Driven, Hybrid, and Page Object Model.
- Hands-on scripting experience using Python or Core Java.
- Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, or IBM RFT.
- Experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Strong understanding of test and defect lifecycle management.
- Experience with test management tools.
- Must have Elevance Health System knowledge including EDP, Member, Benefits, WGS, ISG, Spider, WPD, and Accum ODS.
Responsibilities:
- Understand and articulate business and technical problems addressed by the application under test.
- Break down complex requirements into clear and testable scenarios.
- Define testing strategy, master test plan, and overall test schedules.
- Drive testing across Component, Integration, UAT, and Production phases.
- Set the direction and tone for quality delivery across multiple teams.
- Identify test data requirements and create mock or synthetic test data as needed.
- Support automation testing initiatives and framework implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met.
- Lead testing strategy across large-scale programs.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Selenium, Cucumber, IBM RFT, or similar automation tools.
- Experience in Vibe coding.
- Working knowledge of Python libraries including Pandas and NumPy.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and perform under pressure.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Self-driven, transparent, and quality-focused mindset.
- Strong leadership capabilities in quality assurance initiatives.
Qualification And Education:
- Extensive experience in software testing and test automation.
