Lab Technician

Job Description: Pay Range: $17hr - $22hrThis role involves performing laboratory analyses, conducting experiments, supporting technical projects, and maintaining accurate documentation while ensuring adherence to laboratory standards and safety requirements.Responsibilities:Perform laboratory analyses using established methods and adapt processes as needed.Plan and execute tasks according to production or test schedules.Collaborate with maintenance personnel on equipment repairs and modifications.Conduct specific projects under the guidance of technical specialists.Record data, observations, and conclusions from experiments and tests.Perform laboratory work using conventional and computerized instruments and work aids.Conduct tests according to prescribed standards.Determine chemical and physical characteristics or composition.Set up, adjust, and operate laboratory equipment and instruments.Experience:Zero to three years of laboratory experience.Capable of performing routine tasks and willing to be trained in basic ion exchange technologies.Strong inductive and deductive reasoning skills.Ability to recognize and report problems.Able to work in a fast-paced environment.Self-starter capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.Should Have:Strong attention to detail.Good communication skills.Ability to follow established laboratory procedures.Skills:Laboratory testing and analysis.Operation and adjustment of laboratory equipment.Ability to record accurate observations and data.Basic troubleshooting and problem recognition.Qualification And Education:Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as chemistry.Recent graduates may be considered.
