Job Overview:
Pay Range: $24.45hr - $29.45hr
- Provide primary support for animal care and enrichment of routine and specialized animal colonies.
- Perform cleaning, maintenance, and sanitization of animal facilities and equipment.
- Handle animals, conduct observations, and report any abnormal findings while adhering to veterinary directives.
- Operate and maintain facility equipment including cage washers and environmental monitoring systems.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all tasks and activities.
- Assist with training of team members and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with team members to support cross-functional tasks in a dynamic work environment.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures, and applicable regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care and monitoring of laboratory animals.
- Perform cage cleaning, sanitization, and preparation for reuse.
- Observe animals and report health or environmental concerns.
- Operate and maintain animal facility equipment.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all activities.
- Assist in training team members on procedures and operations.
- Identify and report quality or safety deficiencies.
- Support evaluation and implementation of new technologies and methods.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Experience:
- Minimum of two years of experience in an animal research facility or veterinary practice.
Should Have:
- AALAS certification.
- Knowledge of animal care standards and facility operations.
Qualification And Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate s or Bachelor s degree in Animal Science or related field preferred.
