Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Job Type: Contract
Job Overview:
Pay Range: $70hr - $75hr
- Design and build DevOps processes and procedures for large-scale applications across on-premise and cloud environments.
- Develop build plans, assist developers with troubleshooting failures, and manage software configurations.
- Ensure successful execution of automated testing and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Monitor production environments and maintain system stability and performance.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis to implement long-term solutions.
- Provide off-hour support for mission-critical applications when required.
- Follow enterprise Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards and compliance methodologies.
- Adhere to governance, best practices, and optimize the use of organizational resources.
- Address technical incidents and problems within defined service levels.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering, microservices, and related technologies.
- Minimum 2 years of DevOps experience.
- Experience working with cloud platforms or on-premise infrastructure.
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery practices.
- Experience with database administration and application development tools.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage and optimize system configurations and deployments.
- Monitor systems and resolve incidents in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth delivery processes.
- Implement automation and improve operational efficiencies.
Should Have:

Skills:
- Linux and Windows administration, including IIS management.

- Web technologies including REST APIs, SPAs, and gRPC.
- Database technologies such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Tools such as Git, Azure DevOps, and other source control systems.
- Monitoring and reporting tools.
Qualification And Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
