IT Infrastructure Project Manager

Responsibilities:

• Lead IT infrastructure projects to achieve objectives on time, within budget, and in alignment with organizational methodologies and practices.
• Collaborate with senior technical resources to gather input and facilitate technical problem-solving.
• Manage project budgets up to $1 million while ensuring adherence to financial and organizational guidelines.
• Provide matrix supervision to cross-functional teams, including internal staff and external vendors.
• Present project proposals to committees and governance bodies for approval and direction when required.
• Support senior project/program managers in strategic planning activities.
• Make informed decisions and take appropriate actions to meet project objectives with minimal supervision.
• Advise IT staff on project management practices, standards, and methodologies.
• Manage multiple competing priorities and effectively communicate complex technical information to stakeholders.
• Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring compliance with institutional policies.
• Promote and demonstrate a project-focused culture within the IT organization.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong experience in IT infrastructure project management.
• Knowledge of network segmentation and infrastructure environments.
• Proficiency in PMI Process Groups and Knowledge Areas.
• Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Education And Experience:

• Bachelor s degree with a minimum of 7 years of project management experience in IT and/or healthcare.
• OR Master s degree with a minimum of 4 years of project management experience in IT and/or healthcare.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in healthcare IT environments.
• Familiarity with governance and approval processes.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
