Job Description: Pay Range: $14hr - $17hrThe Customer Service Representative is responsible for handling a high volume of incoming and outgoing customer communications via phone, email, and text. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to research, follow up, and resolve customer issues efficiently while maintaining a professional and courteous approach.Requirement/Must Have:Ability to handle a high volume of incoming and outgoing calls, emails, and text messages.Ability to complete research, follow-up, and resolution for every customer interaction.Customer service–oriented mindset with a focus on first-contact resolution.Intermediate computer skills with working knowledge of Windows operating systems.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet browsers.Responsibilities:Assist customers telephonically and non-telephonically with service and support inquiries.Resolve customer issues using available tools, resources, sound judgment, and internal collaboration.Maintain courteous, professional, and positive communication at all times.Work effectively within a team environment to achieve departmental objectives.Demonstrate continuous performance improvement and support company goals.Ensure productivity and quality standards are met or exceeded.Create win-win resolutions to customer concerns while maintaining customer satisfaction and retention.Experience:Previous experience in a customer-facing role preferred.Experience in telephonic customer support or retail environments is a plus.On-the-job training is available, and experience flexibility may be discussed.Skills:Strong verbal and written communication skills.Basic phone handling and data entry skills.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Basic math skills.Conflict resolution and de-escalation abilities.Qualification And Education:High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.Should Have:Friendly and professional personality.Organized work habits with strong follow-through.Ability to remain calm and de-escalate tense situations.Optical or related industry experience is a plus.
