Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer (Onsite – Spokane, WA)
Contract Role | U.S. Citizenship Required

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to provide onsite operational quality support in an aerospace manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on problem solving, driving corrective action, and partnering with cross-functional teams to improve quality and process performance.

Location: Spokane, WA

What You’ll Do

• Lead root cause investigations using 5 Whys, 8D, and Fishbone analysis
• Develop, implement, and track Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
• Manage and resolve nonconforming product
• Analyze quality data, defect trends, and process metrics to identify improvement opportunities
• Monitor CAPA timelines and verify effectiveness of corrective actions
• Perform quality and risk assessments such as PFMEA, Gage R&R, and MPR
• Support audits and ensure compliance with applicable quality standards
• Maintain quality metrics and reporting requirements

What We’re Looking For

• U.S. Citizen (required)
• Mid-level experience in a Quality Engineering role
• Manufacturing or aerospace industry experience
• Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills
• Comfortable working onsite and collaborating with cross-functional teams

Nice to Have

• Aerospace manufacturing or aerostructures experience
• Continuous improvement background

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
