🔧 Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with strong expertise in Creo and system-level integration to support elevator system design and development. This role focuses on evaluating the impact of design changes across subsystems and ensuring seamless integration within system envelopes.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
Analyze and assess the impact of part/sub-system changes on overall elevator system performance and design envelopes
Develop dimensional studies, including 3D modeling and interface analysis
Perform performance evaluations, cost-benefit analysis, prototyping, and testing strategies
Gather and decompose system-level requirements into subsystem specifications
Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, field operations, marketing, and manufacturing teams
Support product lifecycle activities, including root cause analysis, DFMEA, DFM, and engineering investigations
Lead and execute Engineering Change Notices (ECN) and implementation processes
Create and maintain technical documentation and design studies
✅ Required Skills & Experience
Strong foundation in mechanical engineering design and system integration
Proficiency in Creo for 3D modeling and design analysis
Experience with performance envelope development (duty tables)
Ability to create 2D layouts and studies (AutoCAD preferred)
Hands-on experience with root cause analysis, DFMEA, and engineering validation tools
Knowledge of engineering change management processes
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools
Experience with Mathcad for design documentation is a plus
Elevator industry experience is highly preferred
🎓 Education
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 6 years of experience, OR
Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 4 years of experience
