Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Coordinator to manage project-specific billing and financial documentation within the construction and industrial manufacturing sector. This role involves preparing pay applications, analyzing job cost reports, and supporting project leadership to ensure accurate and timely financial cycles.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare project-specific pay applications and assemble required supporting documentation for multiple projects.
• Compile, review, and analyze job cost reports to support Project Managers and executive leadership.
• Create and maintain ad-hoc financial and operational reports as required.
• Ensure accurate billing file management and timely submission of project billing packages.
• Assist in the preparation of tax-related documentation and ensure overall compliance.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate forecasting and inventory alignment.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 2-3 years of professional billing experience is required.
• Previous experience in construction or industrial billing is highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) is mandatory.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Experience with Viewpoint Vista software is a significant plus.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills for team and client interaction.
• Ability to manage multiple project priorities and meet strict billing deadlines.
