What are the responsibilities and job description for the Video Editor for Christian Teaching Ministry position at Cybermissions?
Cybermissions began in Manila in 2001 and later moved to Los Angeles, California in 2004, and then to Rhoadesville , Virginia in 2020 . We are a digital Christian non-profit that provides free and low-cost theological training to those who need it most.
We are people who are "third-culture" international Christians from a wide variety of backgrounds. We are all volunteers. We are looking for people who will enjoy being part of a prayerful Spirit-filled team and who will stick with us.
Our volunteer opportunities tend to fall into the following categories
Design and Production,
Software,
Hardware,
Social Media and Publicity,
Administration and Fundraising
We are a small Christian non-profit that cannot sponsor visas or offer employment but we are happy to help with skills development and we will give references after task completion.
Our 2024 report video is here https //youtu.be/yFkUPFZBW-k
,
We need a video editor for about 5 hours per week to turn zoom lectures into acceptable videos by removing glitches such as students coming into the call or background noise, And by chopping long lectures into shorter segments and by adding a short end video at the end telling students where to get course materials.
The lectures are for African pastors and have covered a wide variety of topics up to this point. There are a lot of old lectures to be processed but the first priority would be processing the newer lectures.
