This is a full-time, on-site role for a TS/SCI Poly IT Field Support Specialist located in Columbia, MD. The IT Field Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support for IT systems, ensuring network functionality, resolving technical issues, and maintaining system reliability. Daily tasks include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting network security operations, and assisting users through excellent customer service. The role also requires collaboration with technical teams to handle system updates and enhancements.
- Strong knowledge of Network Administration and Network Security
- Expertise in Information Technology operations and systems
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting technical issues and resolving hardware/software problems
- Experience providing excellent Customer Service in a technology support role
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance (required)
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site environment and collaborate with technical teams
- Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field or equivalent professional experience
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network , Security , or CCNA are a plus
