Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and filing of workers' compensation claims
- Review and organize case files and documents
- Conduct legal research using tools such as LexisNexis
- Maintain communication with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers
- Draft legal documents, correspondence, and reports
- Utilize case management software (Cleos and CMS) to track case status and deadlines
- Prepare for hearings and trials by organizing evidence and exhibits
- Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification
- Proven experience as a paralegal, preferably in workers compensation
- Proficiency in legal research tools, including LexisNexis
- Familiarity with case management software such as Cleos and CMS
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
