What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trust/Estate Tax Manager position at CyberCoders?
We are a local CPA firm in the north Chicago area and have been in business for 40 years. We have a great deal of business in the T/E space and are looking for qualified seniors and managers to join our team in January 2026 to prep for the upcoming busy season!
**REMOTE candidates MUST reside in the CHI area**
Oversee the client experience including deadline management and client expectations
calculate tax effects of transactions, conduct technical tax research and manager tax partner expectations
handle billing/wip management
review returns and manage tax workflow
coordinate multiple team engagements, deadlines and schedules
operate in a dynamic environment
Help develop Senior and Staff accountants both technically and professionally through their career
What You Need for this Position
At least 8 years in public accounting with an emphasis in taxationIdeally already an experienced manager, but experienced seniors/supervisors are encouraged to apply
Experienced with both business tax (S-Corp and Partnerships) and Individual tax
Expertise in the Trust/Estate space
Prior experience with GoSystem is a plus
CPA license
M.S. in Taxation is preferred
