Position Overview
We're seeking a highly skilled and driven Construction Superintendent to lead field operations for ground-up industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale builds from site prep to turnover, with a strong background in industrial distribution, food-grade facilities, cold storage, and/or manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all on-site construction activities and subcontractor coordination
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to spec
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
- Manage daily reports, schedules, inspections, and progress tracking
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to resolve issues
- Lead site meetings and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Monitor and enforce compliance with building codes and regulations
- Coordinate MEP systems, refrigeration, and specialized industrial equipment installations
- Minimum 7 years of Superintendent experience in ground-up industrial construction
- Proven track record with distribution centers, food processing, cold storage, or manufacturing facilities
- Strong knowledge of concrete tilt-up, steel erection, MEP coordination, and industrial systems
- OSHA 30 Certification required
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, etc.)
- Ability to travel and work on-site as needed
