Traveling Superintendent - Industrial / Warehouse Renovation (Robotics Integration Projects)
Full-Time | Travel Required | Nationwide Projects

We are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee warehouse renovation projects across the United States. These facilities are being upgraded to support advanced robotic systems, including installation of new rack systems, specialized fire protection, and facility infrastructure improvements.

What You Will Do

Lead Daily On-Site Operations

- Oversee all field activities for warehouse renovation and automation-related construction.
- Manage subcontractors, trades, and suppliers to maintain productivity and quality.
- Serve as the on-site point of contact for project managers, clients, inspectors, and field teams.

Manage Schedule and Workflow

- Create and maintain detailed project schedules.
- Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment to meet timelines.
- Communicate updates, milestones, and critical path items with all stakeholders.

Ensure Safety and Compliance

- Enforce OSHA standards and company safety policies.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and site inspections.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, permitting, and regulatory requirements.

Maintain High Quality Standards

- Perform recurring inspections to verify work meets plans and specifications.
- Address quality issues quickly and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee installation of racking systems, fire sprinkler modifications, and other technical components.

Manage Communication and Documentation

- Provide daily reports on progress, delays, manpower, and site conditions.
- Maintain accurate logs for RFIs, change orders, inspections, and deliveries.
- Promote clear communication across all on-site teams.

Solve Problems and Keep Projects Moving

- Quickly resolve conflicts and field challenges.
- Collaborate with project managers and design teams on unexpected issues.
- Make informed decisions to protect schedule, safety, and quality.

What You Bring

- Minimum 7 years of commercial construction experience.
- At least 3 years as a Superintendent on industrial or interior renovation projects.
- Strong ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
- Experience with project management software such as Procore or PlanGrid.
- OSHA 30 required; First Aid/CPR preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively to job sites nationwide.
