Test Engineer

Position: Test Engineer - Electrical & LabVIEW Focus
Location: Rockford, IL (On-site)
Salary Range: $70K - $120K (DOE)

We are seeking a hands-on Test Engineer to support the development and validation of advanced hydraulic and electronic systems. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in electrical testing and LabVIEW programming, who thrives in a collaborative, engineering-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute test procedures for hydraulic and electronic components and systems
• Utilize LabVIEW to create automated test sequences and data acquisition tools
• Troubleshoot and maintain test equipment and instrumentation
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure product quality and performance
• Analyze test data and prepare detailed reports and recommendations
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes and equipment

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proficiency in LabVIEW and electrical testing methodologies
• Experience with hydraulic systems or components is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Experience as an Electrical or Test Technician also considered
