Position Overview
The Tax Senior will play a crucial role in our tax department, providing expert guidance and services to our clients in areas including partnerships, non-profit organizations, and business tax compliance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing tax engagements, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and delivering high-quality tax planning and consulting services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and prepare federal and state tax returns for partnerships and non-profit organizations, including Forms 1065 and 990.
• Conduct comprehensive tax research and analysis to support client needs and identify tax savings opportunities.
• Review tax returns prepared by junior staff and provide mentorship to develop their skills.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations that may impact clients and the firm.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
• Assist in tax planning strategies and make recommendations to clients based on their specific situations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; Master's degree in Taxation is a plus.
• CPA or EA designation required.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public accounting or a tax-focused role.
• Strong knowledge of partnership taxation, non-profit tax compliance, and business tax regulations.
• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
