Position Overview
The Tax Senior will play a critical role in our tax compliance and consulting team, responsible for preparing and reviewing various tax returns and providing strategic tax advice to clients. This position requires a keen understanding of tax regulations and the ability to work closely with clients to ensure their tax obligations are met accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns
- Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients
- Research and analyze tax issues and provide strategic recommendations
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules for tax purposes
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance
- Manage multiple client engagements and meet deadlines effectively
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Mentor and train junior staff members
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA certification or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tax preparation and compliance
- Strong knowledge of individual, partnership, and corporate tax laws
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
