Position Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Tax Senior to join our team. In this role, you will oversee tax compliance and reporting for our clients, providing expert advice on tax matters and ensuring adherence to regulations. You will play a key role in managing client relationships and mentoring junior staff, contributing to the overall success of our tax department.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review complex federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients, identifying opportunities for tax savings and compliance.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as the primary point of contact for tax-related inquiries.
• Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
• Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and inform clients of any changes that may affect them.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Active CPA license is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting or a similar role, with a focus on tax.
• Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations and compliance processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
